Happy 25th Birthday, Vanessa Hudgens!
You´re my sunshine, my love, my life and my everything. You always make me smiling and i love your personality. You´re perfect for me and i hope you will celebrate today with your friends and family.
I wish you so much luck and happiness in your life and let it be full with sunshine and health and carefull people for you. My English sucks, but my love will never die for you. You´re my idol, and i wish i could say all the things to you and you mean so much to me. If you come to germany i want to show you my favorite places, but it will be forever a dream for me.
I´m jealous of all the people who are in your life because they are blessed to be friends with you.

This is one of the few more serious scenes that I truly like. The significant issue in this scene is trust. Troy feels comfortable enough to admit his love for the stage, while Gabriella explicitly announces her support for him, which is something not a lot of people grant him. This is the first time that Troy openly admits that he does not want to go to U of A, even though he still has a long (or well, not so long) way to go until he finally accepts his passion for performing. Meanwhile, Gabriella also attempts to open up to him and tell him about the honours program, which, judging from both earlier and later scenes, appears to be difficult for her. This could tie back to her obvious, but underdeveloped trust issues, but either way, it’s a turning point for both of them. The trust seems to come easy and it appears to be natural for them to confide in each other and that is so important in any relationship.
